Lesley is a health-promoter, boundary-spanner, knowledge-broker and systems-thinker.
She has over 25 years of public health and community development experience… driven by curiosity, social justice, and a commitment to creative simple solutions. From her earliest years, Lesley has asked the big questions. She looks for the opportunity in every situation, and translates her passion and the passion of others into specific and measurable actions… starting now!
You can find Lesley working and volunteering on projects wherever people and organizations are collaborating to build healthy and inclusive communities. She lives in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada, with her partner John, where they can be found working in their garden or planning their next kayak, ski or travel adventure.
Lesley has a talent seeing the intersection of theory and practice. She helps others understand the practical ways that theoretically-grounded evidence should and can influence public health practice. She is a skilled project manager who provides guidance and support with humour and vision … a pleasure to work with.
